1. Who we are

CleanGrate (cleangrate.com) is an online store for cat and dog products, operated from Quebec, Canada.

The person responsible for the protection of personal information is the owner of CleanGrate. You can reach them at cleangrate.support@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

• Order information you enter at checkout: name, email, shipping address, phone number and the products you buy. Payments are processed by our checkout provider (Wix); we never see or store your full card number.
• Account information if you create an account: email address and name.
• Messages you send us by email, through the contact form or the chat on the site.
• Basic visit information: the page you land on, where you came from (for example Instagram or a search engine), your browser language and whether you use a phone or a computer. We do not collect your name or IP address for this.
• Information stored in your own browser (local storage) to keep your cart and preferences between visits.

3. How we use it

• To process, ship and track your order, and to provide refunds under our 30-day guarantee.
• To answer your questions and provide customer support.
• To understand which pages and products interest visitors, so we can improve the store.
• To measure the results of our advertising (for example Google Ads), once enabled. These tools may use cookies to know whether a visit from an ad led to a purchase.
• With your consent only: to send you emails about your products (such as filter replacement reminders) or offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with the service providers that help us run the store:

• Wix — checkout, payments and order management.
• Base44 — hosting of the cleangrate.com website.
• Our fulfillment partner (TeemDrop) — your name, shipping address and phone number so your order can be packed and shipped, sometimes from outside Canada.
• Shipping carriers — to deliver your package.
• Google — email (Gmail) for customer support and, once enabled, advertising and analytics tools.

Some of these providers store or process information outside Quebec and Canada (for example in the United States or China). We choose providers that protect information in a way that is adequate for this purpose.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order information as long as needed for the order, the guarantee, customer support and our legal and tax obligations (generally up to 7 years for accounting records). Other information is deleted when it is no longer needed.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted when the law allows, or to withdraw your consent to marketing emails. Email cleangrate.support@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, Quebec residents may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

7. Security

We use reputable providers with secure connections (HTTPS) and limit access to your information to what is needed to run the store.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the store evolves. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
